Our beachside shop is fully stocked with a huge range of fresh local produce including fresh fish, meat, Kentish cheeses, milk, dockers sourdough bread, fruit, vegetables, and lots more!

Based on Fisherman’s beach in Hythe, Kent, come down to The Lazy Shack Shop and select from a variety of lovely fresh fish.

Seasonal varieties such as sardines, Dover sole and beautiful mackerel are available from June to October, find local lobsters from May to September, local plaice from May from December and local cod from October to March.

Specialities like oysters are available all year round, along with haddock, langoustines and farmed fish like bream and bass. We have such a wonderful selection of fish that are available at reasonable prices and are both mouth-watering and quick to prepare for your dinner party.

Can hold up to 50 different varieties of fish on any given day:

  • Fresh local fish caught from this bay.
  • Hand smoked haddock and hot smoked salmon.
  • Shellfish available fresh or frozen.
  • A large variety of freshly made chef’s specials are available from the cold counter.
